Video: The Ultimate Plank Workout
We all know that planks are one of the all-time best bodyweight exercises. They're hard to beat when it comes to toning and strengthening the core, plus you can do them anytime, anywhere, with no equipment required. But did you know that you can upgrade your plank into a full-on workout in itself just by adding a few variations into the mix?
In this video, Hailey from Wellness Today guides you through her ultimate four-minute plank workout. Four minutes might not sound like long, but this killer routine is guaranteed to get the heart pumping, sweat dripping, and muscles working, and generally kick your butt—in the best way possible. If you're not ready to do the whole workout all the way through, don't worry! There are plenty of opportunities to modify, and you can of course take as many breaks as you need. Just keep working your way up a little at a time, and you'll be a plank pro, no sweat (okay, maybe a little sweat)!
