In Quiet, Susan argues that introverts are highly undervalued in our society. This is a great read not only for introverts, but also for extroverts who want to better understand how to interact with introverts.

Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success by Adam M. Grant, Ph. D – This ground-breaking book gives us an in depth look at the secrets to successful individuals in the work place. While many books on this topic focus on specific characteristics of success, Dr. Grant talks about how our interactions with others is the key to success.

Snapper by Brian Kimberling – This novel is comprised of several short stories about the main character, Nathan, a bird researcher in Indiana. The reader follows Nathan through his early twenties until his early 30s as he learns to accept all that happens in life. Snapper is a beautifully written novel, perfect for summer reading!

Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld – This novel is a great summer beach read about twin sisters who have psychic abilities. One of them embraces her talents and the other does her best to try and hide them. This is a mesmerizing story of family, and the line between truth and belief.

This is a very interesting read, especially if you are looking for a way to easy into a plant-based diet.
